Fun and Classic Board Games for Kids
Some children are ready to play their first board game at age 3. Don't expect them to have a long attention span or follow all the rules, but they will like being part of the experience. Start with cooperative board games which focus on the turn taking and movement around the board, not winners and losers. These games require no reading to play. Preschool-age children should be introduced to the classics like Candyland and Chutes and Ladders and treat your school age children to a wide variety of options from chess and checkers to Mastermind and Monopoly!
