The Environment Rating Scales are research-based program assessment tools, with proven reliability and validity that are used throughout the United States and in many other countries. They measure environment in the broad sense to include: space arrangement and furnishings; materials, routines and activities; supervision and interactions; and services to staff and parents. Use for self-assessment, preparation for accreditation, or to meet state requirements.
